I consider myself a "Master Networker" and skilled negotiator possessing over 20 years of professional experience. Over the course of my career, I have worked in Higher Education Administration, Consulting, Supplier Diversity, Major Account Acquisition and Sports Marketing.

As an independent Sports & Entertainment PR & Marketing professional, I have secured brand partnerships for Grammy nominated artist, Dwele, 2X NBA AllStar and Slam Dunk Champion, Jason Richardson, Draymond Green , Bruce Gradkowski and several other NFL and NBA players. Furthermore, I have earned media coverage in national publications such as Wireless Week, RCR Wireless, Ebony Magazine, ESSENCE Magazine, Black Enterprise, BET, etc. as well as a variety of regional publications.

My experience includes major Account Management specifically in the area of Digital and Marketing staffing. The account relationships I managed include big brands such as Kraft Foods, The Campbell Soup Company, Career Education, The Boeing Company, IBM, Pearson Education and others. My business development efforts in this area have generated over $11,000,000.00 in incremental revenue opportunity.

Early in my career, I worked as a Marketing Director in the Financial Services arena for Star Financial Bank and Sky Financial Bank (acquired by Huntington Bank). After, seeing an opportunity to leverage my skills to have an immediate impact, I pursued a position in Higher Ed and became the Assistant Director of Graduate Studies in Business at Bowling Green Green State University. While at BGSU, I directed the EMBA program and helped re-establish the program to regional prominence. Soon, I was recruited to join Root Learning, a boutique consulting firm focused on helping companies gain internal alignment around strategy and other complex business issues. While working for Root Learning, I was hand-picked to serve as Marathon Petroleum Company’s first Supplier Diversity Manager. Within two years, the Fortune 50 organization was awarded the "Corporation of the Year Award" from a regional minority supplier development council. For my efforts at Marathon Petroleum Company, I received commendations from a number of regional, minority-supplier development councils across the United States.

I graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing with a Concentration in Advertising. In addition, I hold an MBA from Anderson University (Indiana) and completed the Sports Marketing curriculum at the former University of Kentucky/IMG Sports Marketing Academy. Furthermore, I am professionally trained in strategic, consultative sales, possessing a certification by Miller-Heiman and Corporate Visions' Power Messaging training.
